After an extensive sales and management career of over 20 years with both Multinational and Privately-Owned companies, Brian made a career change into the insurance industry. This occurred in 2010, since then he has come to truly appreciate the role of insurance protection for his clients. Brian has recently joined the Backbone NZ team after an 8-year career with a large brokerage company.

Listening to his clients, whether these are business, rural or domestic clients is his major priority. It is truly a relationship that Brian builds with all his clients. Gaining a true understanding of their individual circumstances allows Brian to tailor an insurance protection portfolio which is specific to each and every client. He is committed to providing the right solution and right advice – every time. These clients are all over the country where he regularly travels to service clients. 

Brian resides in the Manawatu with his family and is an active rugby referee with the Manawatu Rugby referee’s association. Brian has two school age children and enjoys being involved in coaching and supporting their sporting and cultural activities
